Black Friday store hours in 2026: what is confirmed so far

Checked November 2, 2026. There is no single Black Friday opening time that applies to every store. Chain-wide sale schedules, shopping-center hours, pickup windows and pharmacy hours can all differ.

Walmart has announced a Black Friday start time

Walmart says in-store Black Friday deals begin at 6 a.m. local time on Friday, November 27. Its online Black Friday event starts earlier, on November 23 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern. Those are different schedules. Read the official Walmart event announcement and check your store before leaving.

Best Buy and Costco confirm Thanksgiving closures

The Best Buy holiday calendar confirms stores are closed on Thanksgiving, November 26. It directs shoppers to local store pages for holiday hours. A specific Black Friday opening time has not been verified in this directory.

Costco’s 2026 holiday ad says warehouses are closed on Thanksgiving. Its Thanksgiving online offers do not mean warehouses are open. A Black Friday warehouse opening time has not been verified here.

Use the exact location

Open the retailer’s official store locator and choose your intended location.
Look for a dated holiday-hours notice for November 27, 2026.
Check whether the notice covers the retail store, pharmacy, pickup desk or another service.
If the local page is unclear, contact that location before traveling.

Online start times may use Eastern, Central or Pacific time. A statement that says “local time” refers to the location you plan to visit. An online sale starting at midnight does not establish an in-store opening time.

What our directory means by unconfirmed

We keep the year, source and verification date with confirmed retailer information. “Current-year opening hours not confirmed” means we have not verified a 2026 announcement for that retailer. It does not mean the store is closed, and we do not reuse last year’s hours as this year’s facts.

Browse the current store-hours directory and all retailer profiles for sources and updates.
